• A five-day-long traditional Devta Mela started in Sundernagar.As per tradition, the chief guest performed the puja of “Dev Mahunag”, the main deity of Sundernagar, “Dev Kamarunag” and other hill gods.
• The district administration took the charge of the Shanidev Temple at Lambloo village in Hamirpur and sealed all bank accounts of the temple committee
• Water supply from the Ashwani Khud Scheme was responsible for the jaundice outbreak. As many as 770 cases of jaundice were detected in Solan and its surrounding area. Water supply from the Ashwani Khud Scheme was put on hold on January 23.
