Commission declares HPAS Preliminary
examination result

Commission today declared the result of preliminary examination of HP
Administrative and Allied Services -2015.
A Spokesman of the Commission
informed here today that in all 43,509 applications were received for admission
to the aforesaid examination for 2015 as against 45,373 who applied last year.
Out of 43,509 candidates, 38,384 were admitted provisionally. As many as 22,073
candidates appeared in HPAS Preliminary Examination-2015 held on 5 June, 2016
out of which 534 candidates were declared qualified for main written
examination of HPAS.
He said that the result of the
examination is available on Commission’s website at www.hp.gov.in/hppsc.
Expressing satisfaction
over the timely declaration of result of HPAS Combined Competitive Examination,
Chairman of the Commission Shri K.S. Tomar said the Commission had also decided
to hold Himachal Pradesh Administrative Combined Competitive (Main) Written
Examination-2015 w.e.f. 11th September, 2016 onwards. The application format,
instructions to the candidates and scheme of examination have been uploaded on
the official website of the Commission. The candidates who have been declared
qualified in the Preliminary Examination have been advised to download the
format of HPAS (Main) Examination-2015, application form and instructions to
the candidates for filling up the detailed application form so as to send the
same along with requisite examination fee and documents to the office of HPPSC
on or before 28th August, 2016, failing which their candidature is liable to be
cancelled.
Shri Tomar further
stated the Commission had started Toll Free Centre to enable the Government to
Citizen (G2C) interface for the quick delivery of information and public
amassing the information through Help Centre. Toll Free Number 1800-180-8004
was being answered by a team of Help Centre Executives on every working day and
the calls are attended by highly experienced and skilled professionals.
He said till date 34933 Calls on
Toll Free Number and 27235 Calls on help desk Telephone No. 0177-2629738.
(Having only incoming facility) have been received. In all 62,168 calls were
received by the Toll Free centre. It has helped the candidates in general but
specially those aspirants who belong to far flung and tribal areas in the
state.
