HPPSC released the notification of HPAS 2016 in January 2017 and Prelims exam will be held on 25 June 2017. As per revised criteria Only Paper-I score will be considered for
merit and Paper-II will be of qualified nature only. For Prelims preparation one
has roughly 70 days left. (55 days for Syllabus + 15 days for Revision and Mock Tests). The Books mentioned here are only for those who have not started yet or those have not covered the much syllabus till now.

Science - 6th to 10th NCERT or GIST of NCERT (6 days)
Environment - Shankar IAS Academy Book (5 days)
Current – Alchemist [Jan to May] [Updated soon] (8 Days)
Himachal GK - Jagmohan Balokhra (5 Days - Selected Topics) + Economic Survey Summary (2 Days) + Budget Summary (1 Day) + HP Current (2 Days)
Ancient History +
Medieval History - Arhihant or Lucent (4 Days)
Mock Tests: 20 Tests (5 Days)
Revision of All Subjects - 10 days

ReplyDeleteAfter covering jagmohan balokhra's along with 2-3 other small books, is there any need to go through some other book like Mian Goverdhan's or Rajender Attri's. If yes then of the two which should be preffered....
